Anyone who enjoys savoring the wonders of nature has only to check out Lexington’s Arboretum State Botanical Gardens of Kentucky, located at 500 Alumni Drive. The 100 acre complex, a joint venture of the University of Kentucky and the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, is open year-round, but is a special joy to behold during the warm summer months, when visitors can leisurely stroll the paths of lush green trees punctuated by colorful gardens of flowers and vegetables. |
